Frequently Asked Questions

I’m worried about my job stability after a takeover. What should I do?

Firstly, don't panic. Check your rights regarding redundancy. Start planning for uncertainty and consider all alternative employment options before deciding on your future. A takeover does not necessarily mean "bad news", potential career benefits could include access to a larger network, career opportunities within a bigger organisation, improved benefits, enhanced training and development as well as exposure to new markets, new technologies and the possibility of taking on new leadership roles.

Facing Redundancy - What should I do?

This can be a tough time, but don't worry - you'll have support. Understand your redundancy package, exit date and ask about outplacement assistance. If you've been with your employer for a while, the job market may have changed. Be proactive in your job search and seek out professional outplacement support.

Will my employer Pay?

Many of our client's employers coordinate with us directly for outplacement support. Sometimes, you may receive funds directly from your employer to choose an outplacement provider.

Our Most of our support is delivered digitally and remotely via Microsoft Teams. However, we can also offer face-to-face meetings where practical, or a hybrid combination, as many clients appreciate this option.

What is a typical programme?

A typical support programme includes a specified number of tailored support sessions. These can be conducted remotely using digital technology, face-to-face at a convenient location, or as a combination of both.

Full remote support is also available between these sessions. Relevant templates and other job search information documents will be provided for the duration of the programme.
